If you think this family lacks entertainment ..Think Again! And Hard...God yes we do!Or I most certainly do!
So when we got free passes to an entertainment park , we couldn't say NO!
The day began as usual with me crawling even after getting out of bed and hoping Anuva would sleep a little more , so that i could have my morning cup of Tea uninterrupted. The over Enthusiastic boys who wake up at 5am on a Sunday, to go play Tennis are not back yet and so, my morning cup of tea ( which Ankush makes for me everyday)..is not there! Humph! I need to make my Tea.
Tea ready! Anuva eating her breakfast and the boys arrived. With full enthusiasm of lets go , Lets go! It took me a while but i got ready and we left.
This entertainment park was like a magical land where roles reversed..POOF. So Mummy(Me), who was slugsy turned into the enthusiastic school girl with Anuva who was as Anuva always is excited, turned to look at Appa, who looked like a phone with 50% battery ,Who started acting up saying no not this ride and maybe only that one.
Ansh Bhaiya turned into the Slowest mobile person. He dragged himself to places and would reach minutes after Anuva had already finished one round of that ride!
And if that was not enough of entertainment in itself, we had some interesting people and happenings around. Like this mum who would usher the child(About 5 yrs) and say...go ahead ...go ahead..more ahead! like where? there are other kids waiting! cant you see? I politely had to remind the mom that there is a queue and the kid too has to wait in that.
Here the kid was 5 and parent pushing..then we met these kids, 3 of them 11,9,5 yrs, who came running and squeezed between us and moved straight up. Yes Yes , there was one father behind who whispered their names from behind me , into my ear as if to introduce them to me! Where is the mom? They are better at yelling! I thought of talking to the dad...but the look he had was of a 20% charge remaining- phone and the look of- they dont listen to me at home , you think there is any chance here? I decided to let them go ahead anyway. God bless that Dad.
Here is another one...a family of 4 in front of us suddenly turned into a family of 9 when the Father met a friend and his family! He gently signalled to the other father to come in and the wink of the eye saying , Chalta hai yaar, yeh patiently wait karne walon me se hai :)
I have experienced this in an Entertainment park in another city too ....toh kya? sab aise hi karte hain.
But the next thing i witnessed marks - I have seen it all..or have i ? A group of people with bags that is equal to the amount of stuff we as a family take to our three days outstation trip, was lying in the midst of a lawn. People sprawled all over the lawn. Finally, the bags were opened...home cooked food! Everyone sat up and enjoyed the food. No Harm there - Iam pro Ghar Ka Khana. But then, a kid was sent to pick a hose watering the lawn the kid quickly got the hose everyone washed their hands faces and wait- the utensils too! Sab kuch yahin Nipta liya
The steps quickened and suddenly Ansh said...hurry up Please! I stoppped in my tracks..did my son just say that? I have lots of home work to do. i have to study ! Really?! Ok OK my son is such a good boy i thought...bechara padhna chahta hai...We reached home at 3:30 pm and Ansh the boy who couldnt wait to open his books, vanished. Where? to the clubhouse..Why? to watch the screening of the Indo -Pak match on the big screen! Its 10 pm now and he has already slept off. Homework status? still pending..
We had a super entertaining Day...What say?
